What do all musicians have in common? They know their purpose in life. Fortunately, Jake Childs found his purpose in life at an early age. Jake grew up in a musical environment, with his father working as a professional trumpet player in the Navy Jazz Band. Following in his father’s footsteps, Jake soon began to pick up the trumpet. The guitar, bass, and keys soon followed suit and found their way into jakes hands and ears. The willingness to spend time practicing coupled with an open mind to new sounds took Jake on a journey through Punk and Jazz to Techno and House.

Jake is known by industry peers for his work ethic and “whatever it takes” attitude on life. This kind of outlook has led Jake to many successes with both music production and touring. Some of Jake’s production highlights include his remix of the timeless “Lovelee Dae” by Blaze (OM Records), as well as remixes and original tracks on the critically acclaimed Freerange Records. Jake’s music has been licensed to compilations by Mark Farina (Live in Tokyo, OM Records), and Derrick Carter (Sessions, Ministry of Sound) + many more. His tour schedule has taken him all over the world from Russia to Prauge, to London and Iceland, and of course every major city in the USA.

Lucas attended school for Audio Engineering at Media Tech Institute, and worked at Sunrise Recording Studio’s as an engineer, recording, mixing, and mastering, all types of different music and projects. After fine tuning his studio skills, Lucas began to work on his own musical productions. Fusing together sounds from his childhood, presents, and future to create music that was truly a reflection of himself. This reflection has landed him on major record labels all around the world such as Tango, Guesthouse, Kolour, Neurotraxx, Uniform, and many others.

Lucas has a versatile discography of original tracks and remixes. Some high lights would be “The Post Oak Yuppie EP” on German heavy weight label Einmaleins Musik which was charted by Dubfire in his best of summer 2009 chart on Beatport. As well as his remix for Giom & JT Donaldson’s track “Let’s make a record” on Kolour Recordings which was featured on a Japanese CD compilation “World Standard”. Lucas is constantly evolving and finding fresh new sounds for his audiences. His newest project “ Locked In Multimedia” which is an event production company, record label, and media design firm is keeping him busy and excited about the future.

In addition to influencing the all-female dj scene, DJ Lullaby is a driving force behind Locked In Multimedia and HUHM (Houston’s Underground House Movement), alongside local dj/promoter/producer Lucas Keizer, bringing underground parties to various locations in Houston and Lake Conroe, and her appeal to the crowd is demonstrated at every event she’s played. As the newest addition to Houston’s elite Kaos Entertainment, LLC, DJ Lullaby strives to showcase high levels of energy and rhythm behind the decks from different genres of music.

In addition to being a dj and promotor, DJ Lullaby has been a vocalist for numerous tracks including Lucas Keizer’s “Bento Box” on Neurotraxx Recordings. DJ Lullaby has shared the stage with various artists including David Guetta, DJ RAP, Bad Boy Bill, Colette, Kate Simko, Dave Pezzner, Jake Childs and Lucas Keizer.
